| | Description: | SureClose 75057223i 57 AT90 S is a self-closing no-slam gate hinge that keeps your gate from slamming which reduces noise and gate damage. The “SF” stands for safety so it is an excellent choice for your pool, child or pet safety gate. It opens 90 degrees one way and self-closes. This flush mount model is made of aluminum and can be screwed onto your 2 inch square aluminum post and gate. The hydraulics are hidden inside the post and they do NOT leak ( like some competing brands do ). A single hinge, in conjunction with the non-self-closing hinge ( 75001213 ) , will close a 90 lb gate. Two SureClose 57SF used together will close up to a 180 lb gate. With a dual thrust bearing glide system, 1,500 lb point load, tested up to 500,000 cycles and an industry unheard of 2 year factory warranty, you can not go wrong with Sure Close. You must use this hinge in conjunction with Aluminum Bracket 7515. SureClose hinges ( like most hinges ) are NOT meant to be used in conjunction with any other type of hinge. Mixing different types or styles of hinges can result in different pivot points which will cause the hinges to bind and not work. |
